My dog mugen has been going here for many years. 12 years old now and we've had a great experience with the staff and he likes it much better than the last practice we took him too. Really like both of the vets there and this last time he ate a corn cob, like the bone of the corn and we took him in for an emergency visit. He was fine but the staff has taken really good care of him and he's 12 and in pretty good health still, minus sometimes stubbornly eating food adjacent items lol. I highly recommend this vet!

I take my macaw to Martinez Animal Hospital to have his beak and talons trimmed. There are very few veterinarians that offer avian services. They are very compassionate about providing this service and they do a great job at a reasonable price.

I came in the with an extremely sick puppy in my arms. The receptionist wasn't rude, but she asked if I was a regular, spoke with the doctor, then sent me home for my puppy to die. No walk-in appointments even when you have all the money needed, but lack the time it would take to make it somewhere. Ive never seen an animal hospital "care" for animals so much they don't care if they die and don't even try to help. It's not their fault their name populated on Google for a walk-in hospital, but their lack of common decency IS their fault. Some hospital

We brought our 8-week-old pups to them. Dr Wilkes was so sweet and VERY experienced. He gave us great advice , the girls trimmed the pup's nails, and they got their first shots for a reasonable rate. They're a personable and professional group of people. We are looking forward to bringing the dogs to them for the next 14 years!

Very nice inside, although small. The waiting area looks to be completely updated. The exam rooms are concrete block walls that are in need of paint but the room is functional and uncluttered. The veterinarian was professional and so sweet with my old man Dachshund. Definitely would recommend if you are need of a Veterinarian in the Martinez area.

The staff and Doctors are great here. My Maltese who was almost 16 had to be put down due to his organs were shutting down. Everyine here was very kind to me.

I’d highly recommend Martinez Animal Hospital for your animal’s healthcare. The staff was competent and caring and treated my cats with gentleness. The location is convenient, clean, and safe. I believe their prices are affordable too.
